Although it is still awhile away, I can’t wait for August to start. If you think that I am the type of person who likes to wish my life away, you are mistaken. I am anticipating this period of time so much because when it arrives, my cousin is going to deliver her baby and officially become a Mother. What makes this event incredibly special is that this will be the first baby that my cousin has ever delivered, so she is so happy about becoming a first time parent. My job forced me to move fairly far away from my cousin three years ago, but that doesn’t mean that I would dream of not being there for her when she delivers her baby. Over two and a half months ago, I made my reservation to be in Fulham during this time to ensure I was there to experience this event.

In addition to knowing I wouldn’t miss this event, booking my trip to Fulham in advance ensured that I kept my traveling expenses low. Since I used to live in Fulham, I would normally stay with someone I know, but I wanted to be as close to the hospital as possible this time. By getting it reserved in advance, I was able to get my Fulham hotel room (which is right by the hospital) at a significantly discounted rate. To ensure that I can get to the hospital and anywhere else my cousin needs me to go, I also secured a Fulham car hire on the Internet. As the date of the birth gets closer, I just continue to get more excited about meeting this baby for the first time!
