If you are visiting Fulham, one of the best places to park is the car park operated by Pure Park just off Fulham Road in Brompton. This car park is in easy walking distance to Kings Road Shopping (a very nice street for a bit of luxury shopping, should your budget warrant this!), Harrods (one of the most exclusive shops in the world, let alone London!), the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum.

Unfortunately, as you might imagine parking in such a posh area, the prices aren’t cheap. A 1 hour stay here will cost you a whopping £6.50, so it is much more economical to park here for a long time – parking for 24 hours will only cost you £45.00. However, if you book in advance you may be able to wriggle you way into a discount to decrease the parking costs slightly. Season tickets are also available for those that will be parking here often – these significantly reduce your parking costs.

However, for this price you do get a parking service that is superior to most you’ve ever tried. There is a buggy loan service in case you’ve forgotten to bring the pushchair for your toddler, a 24 hour garage and mini-supermarket is located opposite the car park, free shoe shining service and, of course, a free umbrella should you get caught short in the British weather! There is also the option for valet parking and a full car wash. The car wash starts at a mere £8 for a simple hand wash, right up to £45 for a full car wash, buffer polish and the addition of a fragrance of your choice!

Fulham Car Parking

In the heart of the city there lies two football stadia with two rival teams that battle it out at least twice every season. This rivalry stretches back decades and has been the scene of many of football’s finest matches. The rivalry is, of course, between Chelsea and Fulham and the matches always draw a capacity crowd no matter whether it is in the league or in the cup. With over 30,000 people attending each match there is going to be an obvious strain on the car parking facilities that surround the ground in Fulham.

Even though many fans are local and walk to each match, there are many who come from further afield so need somewhere to deposit the car during the match (the tube could be used but given the nature of a minority of football fans with hooligan behaviour, this is best avoided). Fulham, therefore, has a system of car parks dotted throughout the area which ensures that there is enough parking for all those who need it. There are three within walking distance of the stadium which is fortunate as it means that you don’t have to risk missing the match! Each car park holds upwards of 200 people and, whilst this may not sound like many it is more than enough to ensure that there are enough spaces for everyone. With a match only lasting 90 minutes you are only going to need to park for a maximum of three hours and, as such, the cost is unlikely to exceed £10 which is more than amenable.
